Oral History Movement

In August 2018, Likikiri Collective, Rift Valley Institute (RVI) and the Institute for Justice and Peace Studies (IJPS) at the Catholic University of South Sudan launched a new collaboration in the field of oral history. Two new intensive courses in oral history method and practice were introduced for South Sudanese students and faculty from the University of Juba, Catholic University and Upper Nile University. A follow up training specially tailored for civil society activists is planned for September 2018. A public exhibit of participants’ work is scheduled for February 2019. We’ll keep you posted!
